At the start of the Revolution in Libya I have took it upon myself to contribute as an individual the cause of the people in Libya.
Using my skills in branding and design I sought to revive a Libyan and Arab symbol of resistance against oppression and tyranny, Omar El Mukhtar.
As expected it was received as intended, although I didn't expect how wide it would take off. People from different parts of the world used them at their profile image on social media making it different to tell them appart, artists in Libya painted murals on the walls and the design had been viewed in passing on various news channels reporting on the events in Libya. My revival of an icon has done its purpose.
